Young Poets: Exodus Poetry Workshop
Time: 3:30 to 4:00 (Closing) | Location: Children’s Stage Area
Poets of the Exodus Poetry Workshop are homeschooled teens who meet once each week with Eve Burton to read, discuss, and write poetry. Eve has been bringing the Twinbrook Tellers, a group of children who do oral storytelling, to the Day of the Book Festival since 2007. This year she is delighted to have her class of poets at the festival as well. Eve is a recipient of the Montgomery County Arts & Humanities Commission, Arts Educator of the Year Award, 2010.

Scavenger Hunt for Kids of All Ages
Time/Location: All day on Howard Ave; Pick up bags and info at the Welcome Table.

Author
Lulu Delacre will be signing books at the Noyes Library Foundation Table from 12-2.

Marjuan Canady, author of Callaloo: A Jazz Folktale will be reading at her table at 12:30 & 2:30.
