I am drawn to trains, nature, old buildings and people so I just carry cameras with me everywhere I go. For trains I shoot digital; for everything else I prefer medium format and 35mm SLR and rangefinder film cameras. I started putting together the tools and equipment in 2007 to develop a life-long passion into a business. With a successful show under my belt and my photographs in several stores, 2008 was looking to be a good year, until I suffered a rear cerebral stroke. Film photography turned out to be a major part of my recovery as the balance and coordination needed to take an in-focus shot while walking was great training for my type of stroke. Long live film!
