This mission complements the combined efforts of MCPLs, the Library Board, and the Library Advisory Committees, providing program support, matching funds, and specific materials and equipment to augment public monies and maintain a quality public library system. FOL was founded in 1982 and incorporated as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in 1983. We are not part of the MCPL System or the County, and receive no government funds. Despite its history and place in the fabric of the community, Noyes is vulnerable to the current county budget crisis, and was scheduled to be closed in July 2010.
